General Information
The Office of Admissions is seeking Saturday Student Hosts to work in the Admissions Office to greet,check-in, direct and inform our many Saturday prospective students and families. This position is for both fall and spring semesters.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Saturday host students are responsible for our prospective families having an excellent campus visit on regular Saturday admissions information sessions and large Saturday open houses.
Qualifications
Applicants must be mature, responsible, hard-working, prompt,self-motivated and dependable. Hosts must have excellent customer service skills and communicate effectively with prospective JMU students and their parents. Student must have a professional demeanor and desire to represent JMU exceptionally.
Conditions of Employment
Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
