James Adams has partnered with a fast-growing Life Sciences business in Nottingham and Cambridge looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Manager to join its HR and Talent team. This role will work 2-3 days a week from their Nottingham offices. This role will report to the HR Director and manage the talent function of the business.

This opportunity represents a greenfield/blank canvass. Our customer is very open to any ideas or strategies an incoming Talent Acquisition Manager may have. They are looking for someone with energy and ideas. We are open to people from either an agency background or with some in-house experience looking to take the next step in their career.

It would be beneficial if any interested candidates had some experience in a scientific business/an understanding of what scientists want, although it’s not absolutely essential. The majority of roles within the organisation will be scientific/technical in nature.

The Talent Acquisition Manager will focus on both Talent Acquisition & Staff Development. So this would be a great opportunity for someone within a talent acquisition / recruitment-focused role who wanted to potentially broaden their skillset. Long term our customer is looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to have responsibility for talent and development, not just recruitment.
