As the Product Accounting Analyst, you’ll be responsible for:
Ensuring inventory is properly controlled and product cost is correctly recorded.
- Providing manufacturing inventory close process activities, maintain Balance Sheet integrity and provide accurate transactional costing and accounting
- Delivering standardised, streamlined financial reporting to stakeholder teams
- Contributing to high quality analysis supporting management to achieve financial, operational, and strategic objectives
- Producing elements of the Record to Report (R2R) KPI and SLA measurement suite
- Adhering to the policies, controls and governance
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Resolving customer concerns, escalating as necessary
- Undertaking appropriate training and development
- Embracing the JLR Creators’ Code principles and behaviours
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You’ll join us with knowledge of Record to Report (R2R) processes within a complex manufacturing environment with transfer pricing and intercompany transactions using SAP / legacy systems.
Naturally, you’ll have good numerical and analytical skills as well as this experience of working in a SOX controlled environment.
You’ll have the ability to work independently and in a team environment and the ability to multi task, work accurately at speed and under pressure.
Continuous improvement ‘mind set’ with the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues using innovation is important as well as good attention to detail at all levels.
You’ll also have:
- Ability to research and troubleshoot user issues
- Self-driven learner with an appetite for continuous professional and personal development
- Qualified or working towards a CCAB recognised professional qualification
- Ability and willingness to travel – UK
