The Opportunity
Jaguar Land Rover is undergoing a business wide transformation programme. REFOCUS is a new organisation-wide transformation strategy which will see Jaguar Land Rover right-size, repurpose and reorganise into a more agile operation. The intent of the programme is to empower employees to create and deliver at speed and with clear purpose.
This role sits in Talent and People Capability and operates in an Agile methodology and mindset within the REFOCUS Environment and Experience transformation team. The team is working towards the creation of a flexible, innovative, collaborative and inclusive workforce experience.
This role is responsible for supporting the implementation of change activities and products within workforce environment and experience. Activities cover cross functional areas, encompassing property, IT and HR, such as supporting the embedding of hybrid working, implementation of changes to improve the office environment, communications and engagement with the workforce, and supporting employees through Office co-location. Products and activities will vary based on sprint activities and prioritisation.
This role will also co-ordinate and drive communications from the Talent and People Capability team, ensuring that there are consistent, regular, on-message communications; through Yammer, TeamTalk, and direct email.
This role will include the following activities:
Creation and design of minimum viable products, benchmarking and identifying suitable options for JLR; supporting the team to create a longer-term vision, but delivered through incremental change
Provide input into project & sprint planning to identify plan and timings of change activity
Responsible for supporting the delivery and implementation of change activities, ensuring quality of content meets product definition
Review, update and implementation of change to policies and process – ensuring efficiency, speed cost, quality and user experience are prioritised.
Supporting stakeholder engagement and communications – ensuring Stakeholders are engaged and informed and communication is well thought out in advance – ensuring that effective solutions are created and implemented.
Tracking and communicating risks and opportunities within the project team
Creation of supporting documentation, using Powerpoint and Excel and the ability to present outcomes in stakeholder forums.
Diagnostic gathering, data analysis and presentation of results
Benchmarking – to keep abreast of external trends and practices which influence future needs and engage with external networks and sources of expertise where necessary to grow and challenge approach for business
Co-ordinate and drive communications from the Talent and People Capability team, ensuring that there are consistent, regular, on-message communications; through Yammer, TeamTalk, and direct email
Ensuring that employee experience is prioritised at all time
Any ad hoc projects determined by the HR Manager, Talent and People Capability- Projects
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

HR Experience, specifically in terms of implementing project-based activity
Change management experience
Workforce improvement experience
Project management experience
Experience of stakeholder management at all levels
Change management experience
Strong IT skills in MS software packages
