As Finance Analyst – Fixed Assets, you’ll provide a high-quality service for Fixed Assets to maintain control over the company’s assets.

You’ll also:

  • Completing deliverables on-time and to a high-degree of quality (e.g. journals prepared in time for financial period close, no post close adjustments necessary where errors identified)
  • Adherence to policies, controls & governance – no overdue controls issues
  • Evidence of process improvement mindset – number of process improvement opportunities identified and progressed
  • Positive feedback received from customers
  • Support the fixed asset register close process activities, register integrity and accurate transactional accounting
  • Contribute to the provision of standardised, streamlined financial reporting to operational and senior stakeholders to inform key business decision making and strategic business planning (Weekly, Monthly, YTD)
  • Conduct financial review and challenge of requisitioning documents in accordance with JLR’s DoA process
  • Contribute to high quality analysis supporting management to achieve financial, operational, and strategic objectives
  • Adhere to the policies, controls and governance
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Resolve customer concerns, escalating as necessary
  • Undertake appropriate training and development
  • Embrace the JLR Customer First principles and behaviours


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll join us with knowledge of R2R and P2P processes, especially SAP fixed assets / project accounting. As well as this you’ll have good numerical and analytical skills.

Naturally, you’ll have the ability to work independently and in a team environment as well as the ability to multi task, work accurately at speed and under pressure.

You’ll have a continuous improvement ‘mind set’ with the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues using innovation.

You’ll also have:

  • Experience of working in a SOX controlled environment
  • Attention to detail at all levels
  • Ability to research and troubleshoot user issues
  • Self-driven learner with an appetite for continuous professional and personal development
  • Qualified or working towards a CCAB recognised professional qualification
  • Ability and willingness to travel-UK
