Jacobs is now hiring talented Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineers, across all grades from Junior Engineer through to Principal Engineer, to join our nuclear power business.
As the world strives to deliver a more sustainable, equitable society and protect our natural environment, the shift to cleaner energy requires rapid and far-reaching changes across industries, governments and communities, while addressing the impact that legacy nuclear weapon development had on the environment and assisting in returning land back to its natural state.
With increasing climate change challenges, the shift to clean energy growth and the need to cut emissions to ‘net zero’, it’s time to think differently about tomorrow.
We’d like you to join us in that journey!
This is an opportunity to experience a real variety of projects, colleagues, and clients, collaborating to achieve outstanding results in a stimulating and quality-driven environment.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
You will have post graduate experience, preferably within the civil nuclear or other highly regulated industries. Consideration will be given to time served apprentices with specific experience and a background in civil nuclear.
You will be experienced in the delivery of C&I engineering activities such as authoring and verifying engineering plans, technical reports and specifications with an ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
We’d like you to have:
Senior or Principal level engineers will be expected to have proven experience of leading technical teams in the successful delivery of EC&I engineering activities and demonstrable experience in developing EC&I designs, preferably in highly regulated industries.
This role will predominantly be office based but a willingness to travel to sites of other organisations and clients in the UK is expected. You may be required to undergo Security Clearance.
