We’re looking for a passionate Quality Assurance Coordinator in Greater Toronto Area (GTA) who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our Client’s business.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Reporting to Manager, Quality Audit and responsible for scheduled audit of processes and document deliverables.
• Supports the Project Delivery Teams (PDT) with review of quality submission from Contractors and Technical Advisors (TA).
• Attends in comments resolution meetings with PDT, Contractors and TA.
• Completes the review of quality submission as per contractual timelines.
• Plans, schedule and conducts the internal quality audits on internal CPG policies, plans, processes, and procedures defined in Capital Projects Group (CPG) Quality Management System.
• Approaches CPG Quality Functions and Project Delivery Team members to arrange for audit sessions.
• Assists Manager, Quality Audit in selecting the right sample for internal audits.
• Conducts Quality Audits as per requirements of ISO 19011 standard (latest revision)
• Prepares Audit Checklists with scoring system.
• Develops draft of audit reports to be reviewed by Manager, Quality Audits.
• Issues Audit reports and associated Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Opportunity for Improvements (OFIs) and Corrective Actions Requests (CARs) as per CPG quality procedures.
• Follows up with Functional and PDT members as well as Project Quality Assurance Leads (PQAL) or Senior Quality Assurance Coordinators (SQAC) in resolution of NCRs, and OPIs.
• Coordinates with Manager, Continual Improvement, Functional and Project Delivery Leads for resolution of CARs.
• Plans, schedules, and conducts second party audits on Contractors and TAs as per request of Managers, Program Quality Assurance Manager (PQAM), PQAL or SQAC.
• Coordinates and communicates with Contractor’s and TA’s Quality Representatives to schedule individual and/or group audit sessions.
• Attends in Vendor’s, Contractor’s, and TA’s sites to conduct the audits.
• Prepares draft of audit reports, and associated NCRs, OFIs, and CARs for review of Manager, Quality Audit as well as PQAM, PQAL and SQAC.
• Issues the second party audit reports as per CPG’s and Project’s quality processes and procedures.
• Registers Audit plans, Audit schedules, NCR, OFIs and CARs in Audit and NCR platform or in manual logs for future use in continual improvement and management review meetings’ agenda.

Leadership/Relationship/Stakeholder/Interfaces

• Develops and cultivates key relationships with a wide number of internal and external stakeholders, including PDTs, Contractors, and TAs for successful performance of the scheduled audit of processes and document deliverables.
• Participates in quality management team meetings, and coordination meetings with PDT, Contractors, and TA.
• Develop a collaborative approach across all teams to encourage improvements in quality performance

Project Delivery Knowledge:

• Good knowledge of ISO requirements, particularly ISO 9001:2015
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience of ISO 9011:2018 standard
• Fundamental understanding of Quality Management Systems
• Good command of quality assurance processes in full project life cycle
• Strong report writing and advanced knowledge MS office applications such as Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint

You’ll also need:

• BS degree in Engineering program or equivalent
• 5 to 7 years direct experience in QA field in similar positions.
• Certified ISO 9001:2015 Quality Lead Auditor,
• IRCA Registered Lead Auditor preferred.
