Our Roads & Highways team is seeking a Civil Designer / Drafter to be based in our Hobart office. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the preparation of designs and drawings for civil and road design elements. The role will also include provision of functional support to the design & drafting team, and you’ll need to be able to work as part of multi-discipline teams.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• A working understanding of design and/or drafting software packages such as AutoCAD, Microstation, OpenRoads, or 12d.

• Knowledge and experience in preparing road and/or civil design layouts.

• An understanding of, or willingness to learn, relevant industry standards, particularly Austroads.

• Ability to perform steadily during peak workload and remain calm under pressure.

• Effective communication skills including technical writing and verbal communication.
