Jacob & Co Hiring for Social Media Manager at New York, NY Full Time

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Social Media Manager who will be responsible for the organization and execution of mainly organic social media activities in collaboration with the CEO and senior social media manager of Jacob & Co. for key markets, including the Americas, UAE, Europe, and Asia.

The person will manage, grow, and maximize awareness of our social media accounts for both watches and jewelry divisions. Additionally, the creation and scheduling of content across all social media platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Work with the team to ensure that the assets are consistent across all social platforms. Work with Senior Creatives and Social Media Strategy team and manage/own various projects adhering to creative briefs, timelines, and budgets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Management

• Pipeline and coordinate all content management for social media, including content production, visual assets, and copywriting.
• Collaborate with internal and external key stakeholders, including the creatives, editorials, product development, PR, and marketing department.
• Work closely with the leadership team for the strategic planning and approval process.
• Keep abreast of consumer and competitive trends, identifying any necessary action steps.
• Create seasonal & global campaign concepts for social media
• Contribute ideas and concepts to media content to maintain/grow traffic and engagement
• Optimize content for each social media channel, including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
• Ability to repurpose assets and turn them into social media content
• Maintain a consistent voice for each of our social channels’ audiences through content creation
• Manage our social media community and increase the visibility of the account, including but not limited to sorting DMs, leaving comments, etc.
• Work closely with the copy team to ensure captions/copy are delivered on time.
• Oversee quality control for all social content for moving and still assets
• Research and gain an understanding of the target audience
• Conduct daily post analysis to and provide actionable next steps or ideas based on the data
• Stay on top of relevant social media opportunities and remain familiar with what’s on trend
• Identify key elements that lead to a successful post and ensure that content is always reflective of the latest platform changes

Influencer Management

• Oversee and manage our partner and influencer relationships on a daily basis
• Research and propose new accounts and partnerships to expand our reach, including identifying critical social media players and accounts for our regional campaigns, special launches, and other projects
• Track influencer/partner performance, posting schedules, and provide content distribution
• Coordinate lending products to influencers for content creation
• Manage and update content libraries that get distributed to our influencers

Campaign Management

• Oversee end-to-end execution of all social media marketing campaigns, including planning, budgeting, and tracking.
• Create and manage a monthly ing process to measure and optimize performance across all platforms.
• Create A/B testing strategies for creative & media formats.
• Maintain social media content calendars across all platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Must have five years of relevant work experience in Social Media Marketing.
• Must have 2+ years of professional experience in the luxury industry, preferably in watch/jewelry.
• 1+ years of experience in Influencer Marketing.
• Experience measuring, tracking, and improving social media metrics.
• Experience using social media management tools
• Creative thinker with outstanding storytelling and creative messaging skills.
• Experience with premium brands or within the consumer product industry.
• Experience working in an international environment and cross-disciplinary project teams.
• Experience with creative and content development, including photoshop, video editing tools, driving shoot concepts, photography, and Canva.
