POSITION SUMMARY:
The SVP of Information Technology is responsible for overseeing all aspects of technology, engineering, tech innovation, and corporate data initiatives. He/she will be accountable for leading the delivery and deployment of the JH corporate technology strategy and solutions across the Jackson Healthcare enterprise. This role will also partner with the technology leadership of the JH operating companies to support their company-specific strategies and initiatives, as appropriate. He/she will build a forward-leaning organization that is focused on meeting the current needs and future demands of a high-growth organization.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Serve as strategist and visionary for the deployment of comprehensive IT solutions focused on maintaining an efficient, safe and reliable IT infrastructure
· Maintain and enhance collaborative relationships and partnerships with external IT vendors and IT leaders within the JH family of companies to align the company’s IT infrastructure and business priorities
· Keep abreast of new technology innovations, trends and opportunities
· Ensure an ever improving, user-friendly experience for internal customers
· Partner with the JH family of companies to align the company’s IT infrastructure with their business priorities
· Maintain an operational environment that is efficient (standards), strategic (architecture), and secure (business continuity and security)
· Oversee the IT security function to ensure the appropriate security tools and processes are properly deployed and effectively monitored to ensure data integrity, prevent unauthorized access to sensitive information and maintain robust redundancy measures.
· Guide the IT team to develop and regularly test IT disaster recovery procedures to assure business continuity for central and distributed systems and services
· Identify opportunities to evolve consistent and best-in-class technology and solutions for the family of companies
· Lead overall IT strategy and ensure all systems necessary to support business operations and objectives
· Oversee IT strategy to support IT applications and technologies associated with planning, operating, and supporting the business to include data security, collaboration, and storage architectures
· Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance
· Oversee the management of day to day IT operations, data center, and IT associates within the IT organizational structure
· Enhance enterprise technology standards, governance processes, and performance metrics to ensure IT delivers value to the organization
· Propose and manage high-level data and technology innovation projects, budgets for programs, purchases, and upgrades to equipment and systems
· Collaborate with IT leaders to select and implement suitable technological systems and platforms to improve associate and client experience
· Work closely with executive leadership to use IT to create scalable and automated processes using applications as appropriate
· Advise on policy and investment decisions related to technology, working closely with executives and business leaders within the family of companies
QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
· Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
· 15+ years of IT experience
· 8+ years of leadership experience
· Experience leading a project management team
· Experience leading help desk and support team
· Experience leading transition from on-prem to cloud
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
· Strong Project Management and Program Management skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Technical and advanced analytical, financial, and budgeting skills
· Innovative and self-motivated
· Extensive knowledge of high level programming languages, cyber security, network systems, and variety of computer platforms and software applications
