Jackson Civil Engineering Looking for Industrial Placement Engineer at Dartford, Kent Full Time

Jackson is a regionally structured Civil Engineering firm with offices across the country. We have placements available for 2022/2023 in each of our regions.   

Placements are for a minimum of 12 months, up to 15 months depending on individual needs. Candidates must be studying a Civil Engineering degree and be based within the region they’re applying for.

You will be expected to have a full UK driving licence and have to complete and safely pass a driver assessment during your induction day.

Salary: £19,500 (dependant on age) plus company vehicle, fuel card and 25 day’s holiday.

Role: Industrial Placement Engineer

The successful applicant will be working out on site within a project team as an assistant engineer. Guidance and training will be provided and the placement will be an excellent opportunity to put theory learned at University into practice. For further information visit our website.

Job Description:

• To assist the engineer with their duties
• To develop an understanding of, and the ability to successfully perform key tasks
• Candidates should develop and awareness of company procedures and processes, basic temporary works, construction techniques, materials and plant, and contract / specification types and processes.
