The Onboarding Specialist plays a crucial role in the Jack Westin admissions team by facilitating the initial interaction with students. In this role, they meet with students upon enrollment into the program and gather essential information about their background to provide comprehensive support throughout the counseling and editing process. By understanding the students’ top priorities, the specialist enables the admissions team to address their needs effectively. Additionally, the specialist explains the counseling and editing procedures, ensuring students are well-informed and comfortable. Building rapport and instilling excitement about the program are key responsibilities, fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere for students embarking on their academic journey.
Basic Onboarding Specialist Responsibilities:
The peak season falls between April through July and November. During the peak season, we expect our team to be extremely committed to their students and dedicate the necessary time to the application process. We expect our team to manage their time accordingly. We value work/life balance, however, the expectation is a strong commitment during the busy months with the flexibility to the schedule in the off-season months. The off-season will typically fall between September-October, and Mid-December through Mid-January.
