We are seeking a registered pharmacy technician to become part of our pharmacy team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and correctly complete computer prescription order entry and claim adjudication under pharmacist’s supervision

• Troubleshoot adjudication concerns with insurance providers, patient support programs and provincial providers

• Utilize our various digital platforms and PACMED

• Provide patients with information concerning prices, number of refills available, pharmacy policies and insurance as requested

• Facilitate phone calls from patients, other pharmacies, and other members of the health care team as appropriate

• Answer phones and checks voicemail messages

• General housekeeping, stocking supplies, keeping dispensing area clean, and maintaining dispensing equipment

• Assist with packaging of product from pharmacy for delivery

• Monitor and maintain inventory control of pharmacy products on a daily basis

• Communicate with our medical team for refills and medication changes.

• Communicate with our customer service team regarding timely order send out, address changes, patients with missing consult information

• Creating monthly staff schedule

Skills and Experience:

• Currently licensed Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists

• Registration with the Canadian Association of Pharmacy Technicians

• Minimum one year experience in a manufacturing, hospital or community environment

• Passion for digital health and marketing

• Superior patient relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism

• Strong customer relations skills and strong sense of professionalism

• Excellent analytical, communication, critical thinking and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in KROLL dispensing software, compliance packaging management

• Strong computer skills including demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel

• Flexible and adaptable to meet the requirements of our evolving business

• Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where high attention to detail and accuracy is essential

Schedule

• 9:30-5:30 Monday to Friday, Weekends as required by management.
