Description : J. Lewis Research is currently looking for a highly-organized, experienced and capable accounting clerk for our business office. This is a high-volume environment and the right candidate needs to be a self-starter who can successfully prioritize tasks for the good of the company. Dependability, attention to detail and good communication skills are very important to this position, which functions as part of a small team. An accountant and accounting clerk will be there for training and support, and long term, this person will be working closely with the manager of finance.

Responsibilities : This position includes regular accounting functions such as posting cash receipts, bank reconciliations, the maintenance of accounting records and preparation of standard and custom financial reports, as well as various day-to day activities relating to accounts payable, accounts receivable and cost accounting.

Qualifications : We are looking for someone who is Microsoft Office and QuickBooks proficient and has 1 to 3 years of experience directly related to the responsibilities described above. A two-year degree in Accounting is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour
