Ivy Global School Hiring for High School Part-Time Virtual Teachers at Remote Full Time

Ivy Global School is a virtual K-12 school based in Tampa, Florida. We are seeking certified teachers from the US with an excellent student-centered approach, experience teaching international students and proficiency with G-suite applications, Zoom.

We offer a fun virtual working environment through our engaging teaching platforms; opportunities to develop and enhance skills in online teaching, utilizing multimedia and interactive tools. There is always room for professional development via pedagogical and coaching sessions as well as networking opportunities with other teachers in our community.

Summary

• Location: Remote.
• Working time frame: From either 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM or 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM (ET), Saturdays and Sundays.
• Class size: maximum 20 students per class.
• Starting date: July 2023.
• Employment: 1099 Contractors, paid day on the 10th day of the following month via direct bank deposit.
• Salary: From $25 – $33/instructional hour.

Upon contract signing, teachers are expected to join a 2 to 3 paid training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Lesson preparation;
• Delivering lessons accordingly to the course’s objectives;
• Assigning and grading homework weekly;
• Providing session & course feedback daily, monthly, at the end of the semester.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (in Education is preferable, Master’s Degree is a plus);
• Proven record of at least 01-year experience in teaching core subjects to ELL students;
• Proficiency in all G-suite applications (especially Google Sheet, Google Drive and Google Sites);
• Valid teaching certification.
