Job Description

Are you a seasoned Recruitment Professional with a passion for shaping the future of talent acquisition?

ITW Welding and Miller Electric are seeking to add a 4th Talent Acquisition Manager to our growing team. You’ll have the chance to team up with business leaders and HR partners, crafting impactful recruitment strategies and driving their execution to make a real difference in the business.

Areas of focus include : sourcing talent, optimizing candidate experience, and building talent pipelines within Engineering and IT.

What you will Impact :

• Recruitment Lifecycle :
• Manage the recruitment process including initial assessments, job descriptions, posting optimization, interviews, and job offers, alongside HR partners and other talent team members.
• Develop and manage key recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvements regarding sourcing, diversity, and quality.
• Ensure applicant tracking is compliant with OFCCP / AAP and EEOC rules and regulations.
• Recruitment Strategy & Execution :
• Support hiring managers and HR partners in managing the full lifecycle recruitment for assigned openings.
• Contribute to business talent acquisition plans that target active and passive job seekers through a variety of strategies.
• Identify and oversee relationships with third-party vendors within various domains (headhunters, LinkedIn, Glassdoor) to enrich the talent pipeline with diversity, expertise, and excellence.
• Maximize social media and digital marketing to amplify the employment brand presence and connect with passive talent.
• Process Enhancement :
• Collaborate with HR partners to create consistent interview processes, tools, and assessments to be used across ITW Welding North America.
• Leverage technology and improve efficiency by evaluating bottlenecks, waste, process responsiveness, etc. – all with the goal of improving the candidate experience.
• Provide support and training to hiring managers and HR partners on talent acquisition best practices.
• Assist in coordinating employee onboarding programs to integrate new employees and increase retention.
• Brand Enhancement and Diversity Initiatives :
• Strengthen our employment brand proposition to engage candidate pool of diverse top talent.
• Drive connections with various organizations, associations, and groups to ensure the employment brand reaches a diverse audience.
• Customer-Centric Focus :
• Maintain an overall focus on customers and their experiences, both internal and external to the company.

Qualifications

What you need to do to be successful in this role :

• Comprehensive knowledge of recruiting practices, processes and procedures including relevant Federal and State laws pertaining to recruitment and employment.
• Ability to understand and work with Affirmative Action Plans.
• Technology proficiency : social media savvy to source talent.
• Applicant tracking system and Microsoft Office Suite experience.
• Ability to travel up to 30%; higher during peak recruitment periods.
• Ability to work from the Milwaukee, WI location.

Minimum Education and Experience :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of combined human resources and / or talent acquisition experience.
