ITW Hiring for Key Account Manager Full Time

ITW Global Brands specializes in servicing the auto aftermarket, selling car care products under the Black Magic®, Blue Coral®, Fast Orange®, Fix-A-Flat®, Genuine Innovations®, Gumout®, No Touch®, Permatex®, Rain-X®, Slime®, and Spray Nine® brands. These brands compete in the wiper blade, engine repair, hand cleaner, appearance, cleaners & degreasers, tire repair and performance products segments of the automotive aftermarket. Many of our brands are #1 in their respective categories.

The Hardware Key Account Manager will focus on managing and growing the Hardware business for ITW Global Brands (ITWGB). Manage all aspects of the assigned accounts within the Retail Shared Services Division. Develop and implement innovative sales programs and introduce new products within account assignment. Develop and implement plans to deliver strong net margin growth. Maintain, grow, and develop strong customer relationships. Manage allotted budget within assigned parameters.

This position involves selling the full portfolio of brands to the assigned account(s) which includes ITW Car Care, Global Tire Repair, Engine Repair, and Body Repair Divisions. Brands include Rain-X, Fix-a-Flat, Slime, Permatex, Fast Orange, Spray Nine, Scrubs, Gumout, No Touch, Black Magic, and Evercoat.

Job Description

• Responsible for Customer(s) product, price, and brand strategy.
• Maintain coordination with in-store sales team to create a full omni-channel customer/consumer experience
• Manage short term and long-term representative relationships.
• Develop in conjunction with Team Lead and execute sales strategies to profitably grow all assigned brands.
• Implement comprehensive retail sales and marketing programs.
• Assist Team Lead and Sales Analyst to analyze sales trends, manage forecasts and identify opportunities.
• Coordinate and manage onsite advertisements to effectively optimize sales growth.
• Evaluate competitive products, pricing, promotions, and sales strategies.
• Ensure inventory forecasts and SD&A spends are accurate and in place.
• Collaborate with Divisions’ Marketing and Brand Management Teams on product pricing, promotions, advertising, and new product introductions.
• Assist in the development of targeted national and regional media campaigns and promotions.
• Plan, manage and attend account specific trade shows – 8-10 tradeshows annually
• Plan and facilitate line reviews with retailers and internal divisions to drive sales growth
• Implement pricing activities as needed with no loss of business
• Manage monthly sales projections and forecasts
• Other project or duties as needed by Team

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of CPG sales experience minimum
• Bachelor’s Degree a must
• Strong customer focus, communication, decision-making and influencing skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc
• Strong presentation creation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment is essential
• Valid driver’s license
• 25% travel time
