Business overview per Business Area:
The Order to Cash (OTC) department is responsible for processing sales invoices, cash collection, and credit risk across Broadcast, Studios and Global Distribution.
The team, comprising 13 members, processes approximately 6,000 invoices and collects up to ÂŁ250m each month.
This role entails…
Allocating cash received against invoices.
Chasing customers for remittance advice.
Managing various invoice interfaces.
Responding to queries from internal and external customers.

Key Criteria:
Accurate and timely allocation of cash receipts through automated solutions and manual processing
Manage exceptions when completing invoice and receipting interfaces
Positive working relationship with Credit Control Teams
Customer focus when assisting ITV finance colleagues with invoicing queries
Accurate and timely completion of reconciliation and reporting
Proactive attitude in relation to continuous process improvement
Invoicing / Transactional Activities
Ensure Invoice Interfaces run successfully and identify / correct exceptions
Identify and create adjustments to transactions within their approval limits
Validate line items, amounts (tax, freight and gross) and accounting distributions assigned to each transaction entered
Ensure documents are distributed to customers accurately
Escalation of issues in a timely fashion to ensure resolution without compromising SLA’s
Receipting Activities
Create and update receipts within ITV systems
Appropriate application of receipt to customer account details (open transaction or other location)
Review, identification and application of unidentified receipts within Oracle
Receipt of cash, BACS and/or cheque payments from customers in settlement of outstanding transactions
Notify BSC team members of changes required to receipts within system
Point of contact for all receipt related queries
Reconciliation Activities
Reconciliation of Interfaces, Adfront, PARIS, Newsnet
Sub-ledger balance sheet reconciliations
Customer Service Responsibilities
Continually enhance ITV’s reputation for excellent customer service both internally and externally
Deliver service in line with agreed controls and procedures
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within Order to Cash and across the BSC as a whole; proactively seek opportunities to improve service delivery to customers
Provide information for monthly key performance indicators
Undertake other ad hoc activities required by the BSC management
Teamwork & Development
Maintain good working relationships with other teams in the BSC
Work as a member of the Order to Cash team, participating fully in team activities and taking joint responsibility for team goals
Work with the Invoicing Team Leader to identify and prioritise self-development and learning opportunities
