ITT Connect and Control Technologies Hiring for Elastomeric Focus Factory Full Time

Do you have the experience, drive and leadership to run one of the fastest growing focus factories in our Orchard Park plant? This unique opportunity in Defense and Commercial Aerospace Elastomer Anti-vibration technology will take someone with strong Lean, Process and Technical leadership abilities. You will need to interact with senior management and high expectation customers to meet the operational and financial target of the factory.

Responsibilities:

Lead and drive the Focus Factory team to continuously meet the performance standard of operation – KPI’s, including Quality, On-Time Delivery, Cost, Safety, etc.

Manages production Capacity Requirement Planning according to the demand forecast and production resource requirement plan to include labor, equipment, fixtures, tools and sub-materials, etc. to support the CRP

Lead continuous improvement initiatives on production flow and resource alignment, process efficiency and effectiveness by using LEAN manufacturing & Six Sigma principles

Review and approve necessary manufacturing engineering documents and ensure seamless New Product Introduction (NPI) to meet or exceed Customer expectations.

Administer Performance Management Process across area of responsibility for effectiveness, timeliness, and expected outcomes in focusing, aligning and engaging employees in the pursuit of the overall business strategies and goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Prefer BS/BA degree with Aerospace or Defense experience with 10+ years in manufacturing engineering or operations experience to include 5+ years demonstrated supervisory responsibility. Must be experienced in designing and implementing continuous flow lines, line balancing, and other related production optimization techniques to include application of Lean manufacturing principles. Experience is AS9100 Quality standards. Must have proven managerial track record and sound organizational, communication and leadership skills especially with customer and sr. leadership interactions.
