You will fully support the Head of HR, HR Advisor and other members of the HR team in order to deliver an exceptional HR service to the business.
Responsibilities:
Respond to or field all queries to HR inbox in a timely and efficient manner
Produce all people related paperwork (e.g. contracts, staff contractual change letters, family leave, healthcare paperwork etc.)
Respond to day-to-day internal and external requests such as authorising security pass requests and responding to reference requests, amongst other administrative duties
Maintain accurate records on HRe (our current HR database) and efficiently update with all changes
Play a key role in the implementation of Sage People, our new HR system
Prepare and send timely information to the Payroll department on payroll changes
Full administration of new starters and leavers including coordination of first day arrangements for new starters
Create and send new starter packs
Conduct exit interviews with all leavers and maintain accurate records of feedback
Book meeting rooms for interviews and events where required
Keep trackers up to date ensuring that paperwork is returned and scanned/filed
Manage probationary review process referring to HR Advisor where necessary
Generate reports from HR database as and when required
Manage long service process, ensuring all eligible employees are informed of their entitlement under the scheme in a timely manner
Support HR Advisor as necessary, including with sickness absence management, Occupational Health referrals and family leave
Act as note-taker in employee relations meetings and in the ITN employee forum
Sit on interview panels when necessary
Provide support and coordination to HR and D&I projects where required
Support Head of Reward and Benefits Specialist with benefits administration and first line benefits queries
Support other members of the HR team when required
Contribute to HR team meetings and share learnings and updates
Cover for Recruitment Advisor when required (including using the recruitment system, advertising and shortlisting roles when Recruitment Advisor is on leave)
Any ad-hoc HR duties as directed by the Head of HR or HR Advisor

Qualifications:
Excellent attention to detail

High level of competency in the use of MS Office packages, including Excel
