IT Voice Hiring for Senior Accountant Job at Remote Full Time

Position will include hands-on accounting operations for multiple entities and will report directly to the company’s Controller. Candidate must be a self-starter and able to work independently to qualify for this fully remote position. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Prepare and record monthly journal entries
• Reconciliation of inventory purchases with POs received
• Performance of month-end close responsibilities including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and performance of bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintenance of fixed asset listing
• Collaborate with other members of the Financial Reporting team and other departments
• Prepare and distribute monthly manager’s reporting
• Work with Controller on special finance related projects, annual audit and budget preparation

QUALIFICATIONS

• B.S. in Accounting
• 3+ years of related experience
• Public accounting experience required; audit concentration preferred
• CPA preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to learn new technologies
• Excellent interpersonal/communicative skills
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments accurately and within established time constraints
