An exciting and innovative client of mine are looking for a Software Development Manager to join and lead their team of 12 Developers (looking to add 3 more this year). This is a fully remote role, however you may attend their offices in Central London as and when you please.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing a team of 12 Developers of different experience levels, providing support and mentoring when applicable.
• Testing and reviewing code, providing precise and constructive feedback to the Developers.
• Being directly involved in the recruitment, conducting interviews and making important decisions on hires within the business.
• Leading the development team in the design, development, coding, testing and debugging of applications.
• Set attainable goals to team members to complete projects on time.
• Resolve performance issues and making revisions when necessary.
• Test and debug applications.

Key requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven industry experience leading a team.
• Be comfortable with and have hands on coding experience with the tech stack: C#, SQL Server, .NET Core, jQuery, AJAX.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Have experience managing multiple projects at once.
• Detail oriented.
