IT Governance Hiring for Management Accountant Job at Remote Full Time

Our established finance team is recruiting for a management accountant. The role will be responsible for establishing financial controls and delivering key financial data as part of improving the overall financial reporting framework.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Managing the month-end processes, including but not limited to:
• Accruals and prepayments; and
• Balance sheet reconciliations.

• Reporting on key financial information, including monthly management accounts, budgets and other KPIs.
• Working directly with the Group FD, Group FC, Group RA and senior management on individual projects to improve the flow of financial information.
• Introducing controls and processes to ensure tax and regulatory compliance in the UK and overseas.
• Liaising with external professional advisors and assisting with year-end accounts/audit and tax requirements.
• Supporting the Group FD, Group FC and Group RA with ad hoc tasks.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified accountant;
• Have a strong technical background (either from public practice or a technical role within the industry);
• Be able to manage projects and meet deadlines; and
• Have advanced Microsoft Office skills – particularly Excel.

The following would be desirable, but are not essential:

• Working knowledge of the professional practices or consultancy environment.
• A background working with or for rapid-growth organisations.
• Knowledge of accounting for overseas entities (US and Europe).

Remuneration: Up to £35,000 p.a. depending on experience
Basis: Full time/permanent
Location: Predominantly home based within the UK
