iSupply Group Looking for Project Administrator at RH6, Fernhill, West Sussex Full Time

Position: Project Administrator – Construction 

Location: Gatwick Airport

Rate: Circa £22,000 per annum (PAYE/Umbrella)

Length of Temporary Assignment: 6 months

Start Date:  Immediate

Hours: 40 hours per week (0830-1730)

Environment: Project site based for a major Civil Engineering/ Construction Projects & Maintenance business.

The company and group:

A true global business and a major player within the UK Civil Engineering & Infrastructure construction and maintenance sector. Our client manages flagship projects across the Highways, Rail, Airfields, Local Authority, Ports & Harbour sectors.

Due to a significant contract award to resurface the runway at Gatwick Airport we are recruiting for an experienced Project Administrator to work initially on a 6 month temporary contract.

Summary:

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Administrator will support all aspects of this fast-paced project with all site administration and document control duties.

Key Accountabilities:

• Deliver tasks as directed within specified timescales and to the highest standard
• Assisting with procurement
• Logging of all delivery notes and dockets in the required central filing system
• Responsible for ordering office and stationery supplies
• Be a part of and take minutes of meetings if required
• Manage high volumes of emails
• Manage and maintain job folders within the Company Filing System
• Ensure all administrative tasks are completed correctly and in a timely manner
• Ensure all administrative tasks are completed correctly and in a timely manner
• Ability to communicate well (written and verbal) with the internal workforce, management, sub-contractors, and Client personnel

Skills and experience

• Previous exposure to fast-paced construction or M&E Major Projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
• Attention to detail
• Excellent problem solving and customer service skills
• Ability to liaise at all levels both internally and externally
• Good organisational skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Ability to follow instruction
• Ability to work under own initiative
