Job summary

The purpose of the job is to support the Finance department with the day-to-day activities, working closely with the Finance team and with the wider organisation and stakeholders as required.

Key purpose of the role

• To ensure invoices are recorded on a daily basis
• To ensure cost approval from budget holders prior to recording
• To process daily/weekly payments
• To ensure that bank cash transactions are accurately recorded
• To export and analyse the Aged Creditor Report
• To be responsible for the finance inbox ensuring that all emails are replied in a timely manner
• To support issuing report with actual cost versus budget
• To check tutors’ invoices for monthly payment
• To process monthly tutors’ payment run
• To support and share responsibility with the Financial Accountant to record cash
• To support and share responsibility with the Financial Accountant for accurate and timely manner replies to fee collection queries
• To support with students’ fee collection to collect outstanding student fees
• To support the department with the yearly financial audit
• To collaborate with other departments as needed
• To undertake such other duties that are required commensurate with the role

Education & Skills

• Educated at a degree level, preferably in Accounting, Finance and Management
• 1 year of experience or internship in a similar role is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Excel
• Excellent communication skills
