What’s the Job?

Every ISSA student is motivated to help people on their health and wellness journeys. As a Level 1 Success Coach, you will ensure ISSA’s students have the best possible experience with ISSA; one that makes them feel supported and capable of success. You will be there with them every step of the way, providing direction, solving problems, monitoring progress, providing encouragement, and promoting accountability.

What can you expect?

You will be responsible for an assigned group of students and, as their primary point of contact, your job is to ensure they have an excellent and personalized experience throughout their entire journey with ISSA.

• Drive Engagement: Through developing individual relationships with each assigned student, and monitoring their activity, you will help keep them engaged and active in their courses. This includes making outbound calls at key intervals, responding to live chat, email, and inbound calls, communicating via social media and working with them on payments, and celebrating with them upon completion.
• Be an Accountability Partner: Through monitoring their activity or inactivity, you will connect them with tools and tips, set and follow up on goals, help to remove obstacles and be there for support. Key measures of success include successful course engagement and completion, minimizing refunds and cancellations, and encouraging additional specializations and upgrades.
• Build Relationships: You will be with them during and after completion of their courses to build long-lasting relationships. Through your compassionate and empathetic support help solve any issues they run into, work with them on payments, update their accounts, navigate the portal, and other topics they encounter.

What we are looking for:

• 1-3 years of student services or customer experience in a multi-modal contact center.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence and build relationships.
• Excellent multitasking skills.
• Keen desire, ability, and experience in solving customer problems, reducing frustrations, and improving overall student experiences.
• Must already possess or complete the ISSA Certified Personal Trainer certification within 3 months of hire.
• Must be in the Phoenix, AZ area.
