We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to lead on ER cases and support recruitment. To develop, advise on and implement policies relating to the effective use of staff in our organisation
What you’ll do:
Lead Employee Relations cases including redundancy programmes independently
Overseeing UK payroll and maintain data integrity for employee records
Interpret and advise on employment law
Work closely with various departments, in a partnering role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures
liaise with a range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance and offboarding
recruit staff, which involves assisting interviewing and selecting candidates
Ensure data accuracy for the areas of competence in the HR information system
Ensure that prospective staff have the right to work at the organisation, as supported by the HR Assistant
Support the development and implementation of policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management
Advise employees on available benefits
Perform pre-employment checks
Supporting the salary review cycle
Provide administrative support for company cars and others as required
Run reports on headcount, presenting data in a clear way
Support the Head of HR in the continuous improvement efforts
Plan and sometimes deliver new staff inductions
Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation
Who you are:
Business, HR or Psychology Degree/CIPD qualified or equivalent
Excellent knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office systems
Comprehensive knowledge of Employment Law
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, independently
Quick thinker

Professional manner relating to all ER matters
3-4 years relevant experience in a truly generalist HR position, working independently
