This is a small growing team with lots of opportunity for the right person.

Our office is based in Dover, UK. However, the position can be made remote (UK only) or partially remote if required. Candidates within a 20-mile radius would be expected to work from the office permanently.

Required

• Degree/higher level qualification in Computer Science or related field. And/Or, 1 years’ experience in software programming within a working environment.
• A desire to become a Frontend developer.

Desirable

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Proficiency with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
• Experience and familiarity with Javascript.
• Experience and familiarity with React.js (hook-based preferable).
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• A demonstratable portfolio of work.

Advantageous

• Full stack exposure (Both Backend and Frontend).
• Strong design skills and experience with the Adobe suite.
• A desire to become a Full stack developer.
• Prior usage and knowledge of Typescript.
• Experience using Redux.js.
• Experience writing React Native applications.
• Experience writing React tests.
• Previously work in an environment delivering products or projects.
• Knowledge and understanding of WCAG 2.1 guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Work on web-based and mobile-based applications.
• Participate in requirements analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
• Write clean, scalable code using various programming languages and frameworks.
• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain applications and software.
• Improve existing applications, systems and software.
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
