Island Nurse Staffing Hiring for Staffing Coordinator-Now Hiring Full Time

Island Nurse Staffing is looking for an experienced staffing coordinator. Seeking a personable, energetic, detail oriented professional who can build relationships with both nursing professionals and our partner facilities. Must be dependable and be available to work 4 ten hour days as scheduled. Must be very computer savvy, and have experience with microsoft office and one drive.

Job Desciption:

As a Staffing Coordinator, you are the main point of contact for our nursing professionals and our partner facilities and must have great interpersonal skills. Must be detail oriented, be able to handle a large volume of calls, multi-task and work efficiently in a fast paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Handles incoming calls for staffing vacancies from partner facilities
• Interacts with nursing professionals to cover daily open shifts
• Ensure that nursing professionals have information needed for upcoming shifts and all shifts are confirmed in advance.
• Secures coverage for open shifts by direct communication with all nursing professionals on our roster via text, phone and email.
• Reviews daily clock in/out for each professional, verifies hours worked, corrects any errors, identifies trends.
• May be responsible for payroll accuracy verification for the Payroll Coordinator.
• Record nursing professional’s attendance and call offs
• Ensure all certifications are up to date for all nursing professionals
• May assist HR with interviewing CNAs, LPNs and RNs
• Any other job duties as designated by the Office Manager or Director of Nursing
• Ensures compliance with COVID-19 requirements and testing

Full time or part time position available-Mon-Friday; some weekends required. Benefits available after probation period; to be discussed at interview.
