POSITION SUMMARY:

As a member of the Corporate Human Resources team, your mission as the Sr. Talent and Development Manager will be to build an empowered and well-rounded workforce. This position will conduct full life cycle recruitment in sourcing the best talent for Island Mountain

Development Group, as well as maintaining effective programs for retention, promotion, and succession planning. This role will also be responsible for developing and executing a range of new and existing initiatives, policies, programs, training, and systems that foster a climate of continuing development and education where all can thrive. You will be a culture builder, thought leader, great partner, who will create and articulate an inspiring vision across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of the talent review process that is required to achieve business goals and results in the creation of an internal bench of top talent for all verticals.
• Develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies to impact the recruiting process and hiring.
• Recruit full-time, part-time, temporary, and intern personnel. Work with the corporate

Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to manage recruitment (post, source, prescreen, schedule, background, references, offer, onboarding, etc.). Complete hiring process within defined metrics to minimize overall time-to-start. Develop appropriate marketing strategies, define roles and responsibilities of the hiring team, to ensure an effective and efficient recruitment lifecycle while minimizing cost-per-hire.

• Work closely with the HRIS to collect and coordinate aggregate data for talent pool and translate the data into insights through data analysis that drives deliberate action plans at the appropriate levels.
• Develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Leverages resources, relationships, and data to create a cutting-edge overall employee

• Distribute all aspects of the IMDG employee development programs, including training and development to all verticals.
• Creates the direction, develops, and executes the organization’s employee development program and disseminates across all verticals.
• Participate in organizational strategic planning and provides leadership for all Talent and Development Managers (by vertical) for policy development.

• Create functional strategies and specific objectives, by vertical, for the development program.
• Assesses employee development needs by individual, department and by vertical.
• Develops and implements training standards for all delivery options and develops criteria for determining the optimum method for training delivery (i.e., Classroom, Outsourced, Virtual, etc.) based on the required content and learning objectives.

• Ensures job-specific training is current, effective, and creates knowledgeable employees.
• Develops and implements specialized programs for talents and key employees.
• Designs and implements leadership programs to “grow our own.”
• Builds the network of internal and external coaches and mentors. Manages such program.
• Aligns internal resources within the training department to execute development programs.
• Aligns external resources to execute development programs.
• Furthers the corporate culture of inclusion, development, and each employee’s role in executing the mission of IMDG.
• Designs the methodology for the development and assessment programs as well as mentoring and coaching programs.
• Provides engaging communications about program information to encourage participation and highlights the value and benefits of the development programs.
• Develops budgets, policies, and procedures to ensure the success of the development programs.
• Ensures alignment of development programs to the mission and vision on IMDG.
• Facilitates relationships with outside vendors and resources to develop and implement tailor-made programs for the development of IMDG employees.
• Obtains and evaluates regular feedback from program participants, mentors, and coaches.

Improves programs based on this feedback.

• Coordinates with the Sr. Vice President of each vertical and the Human Resource

Business Partners (by vertical) and the Executive team.

• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Education or related field
• 5+ years’ experience relevant experience
• Administrative experience with various learning management systems (LMS)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• Travel will be required for Professional Development, conferences, training, and meetings as a representative of IMDG.
• Travel to/from IMDG locations required.
• A valid Driver’s License is required.
• A U.S. Passport may be required for travel.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access various departments of a given location.
