As a member of an interdisciplinary team in a home-like environment develops, organises, implements, facilitates, evaluates and document leisure/activity programs and special events for residents to maximise their wellness and abilities. Supports, understands, and implements the philosophy and objectives of the Extended Care Unit.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training And Experience
Graduation from a recognised recreational program plus one year’s recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Skills And Abilities
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to deal with others effectively.
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
Ability to supervise.
Ability to organise work and be flexible in work routines.
Ability to operate related equipment.
