Island Basement Systems Inc Hiring for Skilled Labourer – spray foam & foundation repair helper Full Time

This position is for a skilled labourer/assistant for spray foam insulation and foundation repair. This position requires construction skills and knowledge. We spend most of our time in crawlspaces and basements, so the ability to work in that environment is required. Your job will involve:

– assist in the installation of waterproofing systems, and repairing of foundations

– assisting during the installation of spray foam insulation

– removing batt insulation, debris, rotten wood, etc from crawlspaces, and basements.

– working with the crew manager to complete the project successfully

– cleaning up rodent debris, mouldy materials, etc.

– working in peoples homes every day, so we’re looking for some decent customer skills as well.

– organizing yourself for the day, being on time, and being dependable.

We provide all the safety equipment, pay for travel, and there are bonuses available for those really nasty crawlspace cleanups. Our customers love the work we do, as make their home so much cleaner, healthier, safer….and you’ll be an integral part of that

A reasonably clean Class 5 license, ability to work in small areas such as crawlspaces and attics, good construction basics, communicate in English, and ability to work on an iphone/Mac are requirements.
