We are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join our London office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the newly formed Business Intelligence Unit to provide key support, insight, and analysis over four main areas: 1) Sales Analysis & Forecasting, 2) Commissions & Sales Incentives, 3) Market Intelligence, 4) CRM Sales Data Maintenance & Reporting development.

Working alongside the Business Intelligence Manager your focus will be on sales reporting, from ensuring the overall sales numbers are robust to providing detailed analysis to assist senior management decision making. Ensuring commission plan accuracy and executed correctly from the initial roll out to monthly management. Consolidating of Market Intelligence data and information through internal and external sources. Development of CRM reports and ensuring data integrity and accuracy within the database.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Business Intelligence Manager, as well as various levels of sales leadership, to provide the financial skills and tools necessary for them to accomplish their business objectives.
• Provide commercial insight through analysis to assist management to drive sales opportunities and identify risks.
• Work with sales managers to prepare, review and analyse commissions and sales compensation plans.
• Assist with the preparation of core business reporting materials, including weekly reports, monthly reports, and board packs.
• Build, manage and distribute CRM sales metric reports on sales key performance indications on a regular basis.
• Assist with local and regional sales queries through deep dive data analysis and illustrating information to provide clear and concise answers.

Requirements / Personal attributes:

• Complex problem solving and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to dive deep into data, existing processes, people, and technology challenges to identify issues and opportunities.
• Detail orientation to ensure related tasks are completed timely and accurately.
• Highly organized, capable of maintaining a systematic process for handling and recording all sales data and analysis.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast spaced environment.
• Able to take initiative and responsibility over own workload.
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills are essential in a global multi-cultural organisation.
• Capability to collaborate and communicate with stakeholders across the company including at senior level.
• Ability to present data in a creative, helpful way to help support narrative.

Education and experience:

• Part/Qualified Accountant, ACCA, ACA or CIMA.
• 2-5 years of corporate experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Advanced Excel skills:

*Confident working with large volume and detailed spreadsheets.

*Good knowledge of data manipulation, logic, formatting, and formulas is essential.

• Advanced Power point skills:

*Creating and maintaining reporting templates

*Creating and incorporating charts, graphs, and other visual aids

• Sales force advantage but not essential
• Previous Experience working with:

*Commission schemes.

*Large data sets.

*Month end procedures including sales analytics, metric reporting and KPI identification.

*Foreign exchange rates in an international multi-currency environment.
