Main Purpose of the role

To design and develop mechanical control software for the range of Ishida equipment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Modify existing software to suit customer specifications.
• Design new features for existing software.
• Liaise closely with customers and other Ishida personnel to provide solutions.
• Visit customer sites as required.
• Develop a good understanding of current products.
• Ensure that engineering input is timely and accurate in order to process orders effectively.
• Provide technical back-up to internal and external customers
• Ensure that records and databases are maintained accurately and efficiently
• Maintain up to date technical knowledge of products and industry
• Ensure that designs meet all standards and regulations required by internal and external bodies

What skills are we looking for?

You will have practical experience with ‘C’ programming, programming in an embedded real time environment, experience of managing a high level of workload and required to prioritise tasks accordingly.

You will be able to consistently achieve “Right First Time” performance against cost and timescale targets, approach all tasks and objectives with positive enthusiasm and flexibility, consistently produce a high standard of service to internal and external customers.
