Due to growth across our Datacentre and High Tech Manufacturing businesses there is a requirement for a Financial Analyst to join the finance team supporting these areas.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, this role will support the Engineering Services division, provide analysis and insight to assist the business in making value added decisions. The role includes systems data input and data extraction from multiple ledgers, consolidating various financial reports and KPIs for management use, providing analytical support and cost control.
Key deliverables
Financial Management and Reporting
Support the Finance Business Partner in preparing consolidated monthly management accounts, TOGP (Turnover and Gross Profit) and KPI’s used by senior management for the Data Centres and High Tech Manufacturing business units.
Responsible for divisional, local country and central overheads and supporting analysis, processing adjustments as necessary
Post monthly staff time allocation and prepare analysis and recovery
Preparation and review of WIP schedules and supporting analysis
Analysis of actual results against forecast and budget
Assist Business Partners in validating and supporting profit take decisions within monthly TOGP report
Preparation of working files for month end reporting along with key KPI data and supporting analysis
Assist in the Business Partners in the preparation of weekly and longer term cashflows
Assist the Finance Business Partner in the year end Contract Review
Decision Support
Opportunity to develop management reporting
Proactively identify opportunities, raise ideas and champion process improvements and cost saving initiatives to meet business objectives
Assist the business units and Finance Business Partner in making informed decisions by championing fact based analysis to support financial and commercial proposals
Work with the Finance Business Partner to generate a suite of consistent analysis tools that support financial and commercial proposals.
Provide ad hoc management information when required
What do you need ?
Graduate – accounting related degree preferred but not essential
Good knowledge of Excel preferred
Excellent communication skills – liaising with all levels throughout the business
Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
Strong team ethic
Good time management skills
Ability to embrace and adapt to change in a fast paced environment
