In this role, you will work under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Lab Team Leader. The successful applicant will be given on the job training to perform duties such as but not limited to:
Sampling and Testing of final product Paper Quality to ensure compliance to Customer specifications.
Sampling and Testing of in-process products to ensure processes are in control.
Maintaining the testing instrument calibration systems.
Technical projects related to process improvement
Irving Paper is a 24/7 operation – shift work will be required in this role.

You Have:
Educational requirements of Chemical Technology Diploma obtained
Have a high level of computer skills and competency (Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft Office software and be comfortable learning new software platforms)
Be able to analyze and troubleshoot problems
Must be willing to work collaboratively with others to solve problem
