Irving Materials Inc Hiring for Rebar Detailer Full Time

Irving Materials Inc. is hiring a full-time Rebar Detailer for our Northern Indiana Region. ing to the Rebar Manager, this position is responsible for completing rebar estimates, providing placement drawings, communicating with customers regarding rebar placement, and quoting jobs. This position will also require concrete accessory knowledge and the ability to quote and provide product information to customers. Compensation starts at $55,000 but experience will be compensated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to produce accurate rebar estimates.
• Responsible for creating placement drawings for fabricated rebar.
• Provide detailed fabricated rebar quotes to our customers.
• Continually evaluating the market place identifying competitive pricing trends.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the production staff regarding fabrication schedule.
• Effectively manage projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
• Other duties or special projects as assigned by management.
• Provide concrete supply pricing and information to customers
• Process concrete supply orders.

Requirements:

• Must be safety oriented and committed to promoting a safe work environment.
• College degree preferred, but not required.
• Previous AutoCad/Microstation experience preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Strong and effective communicator, strong analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communications.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
• Proficiency with computers, including Google G Suite and MS Office.
