Irving Materials Inc Hiring for Accounts Receivable-Credit Assistant- GF Full Time

Do you enjoy the interaction between co-workers and also talk with and eventually grow relationship’s with customers to help problem solve billing issue’s ? imi has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic person to assist our Credit Managers throughout the imi footprint in calling customers and then communicating information back to our Credit Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and initiate communication with customers regarding account status.
• Adhere to corporate credit policy.
• Organize and review data regarding past due, open COD’S and short payments by sales area.
• Make recommendations to sales and management teams regarding extension or reduction of credit lines for specific customers.
• Refer delinquent and non-responsive accounts to managers for possible outside collections.
• Notify sales teams/management of possible litigation
• Investigate and coordinate resolution of disputed delinquent account balances.
• Complete outside credit requests on customer accounts.
• Monthly Calculations for Aging Recaps
• Other duties or special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• 4 years credit and collections experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Be proficient with Gmail, Google Docs, Excel and Microsoft Office.
• General Understanding of Cash Application and Accounts Receivable
• Positive attitude and an eagerness to exceed expectations.
• Demonstrate ability to effectively prioritize & self direct day to day workload,
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience will be compensated

Job Type: Full-time
