Position Summary

We are currently looking for a Shop Labourer/Sander who will be responsible for polishing surfaces to smooth finishes of all types of wood. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of the mill-work manufacturing industry and has the ability to work both independently and within a team to achieve targets in a timely manner.

We currently have opportunities for energetic, hardworking individuals to join our Shop Labourer/Sander team.

Job Duties:

• Sand and finish custom kitchen cabinets for the next step in the production process using hand sanders, electric sanders, and sanding machines
• Sand by hand to detail various cabinet pieces

• Mark, report and record defects on cabinetry
• Clean and polish custom cabinetry after painting or staining
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma required

• Able to work independently
• Available for one of our shifts – Days/Evenings/Weekends

Remuneration:

Depending on experience.
