Supporting end-to-end delivery of month end, including posting and reviewing journals, ledger/sub-ledger reconciliations, delivery of reporting packs to business partners, reporting to executives/board members, revenue reporting into local executive team
Completing the annual/half year audit for group and statutory entities, and relationship management with external auditors on all deliverables
Supporting the delivery of monthly financial insight and data to support decision making and the achievement of financial goals
Assisting the delivery of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and 5 year financial projections
Be the subject matter expert for all systems infrastructure change management and adoption associated with the area
Qualified CPA/CA certificate
Previous experience in financial control – ability to post general ledger journals and to understand the drivers
Strong technical accounting skills, with an ability to apply accounting standard knowledge to real issues
Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft products, particularly Excel. Experience in Netsuite and Adaptive Insights is an advantage
Willingness to challenge and question existing practices and drive improvement
Able to illustrate well-developed problem solving skills
