iQRate Mortgages LLC Hiring for Loan Officer Assistant, LP2, Transaction Coordinator (start to finish) Job at Remote Full Time

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of Loan Officer, underwriting and/or processing experience. A senior loan officer is looking for a LO Assistant. Must have the guideline knowledge to take the file from Contract to Close.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Pre-underwrite loans, structure them, scrub them before submitting the file to processing
• Ability to communicate and collect documents from clients
• Assisting Loan Officer in meeting with borrowers (if need be), taking applications, providing disclosures and following-up through closing.
• Input Team files into Calyx Point with accuracy to make sure the correct information is in the file.
• Upon given borrower name and contact number from loan officer, contact borrower to set up a meeting (with or without Loan Officer present), or take application over the phone, pull credit, run DU and send pre-qualification letter if approve/eligible.

• You will be trusted with pre-underwriting the borrower’s income/assets/creditworthiness while taking into consideration any unique characteristics of the file that an underwriter may characterize as a compensating factor. Once you have received loan approval, you will collaborate with the transaction coordinator and loan originator to help assure a smooth loan closing.
• Being adaptable and efficient is very important for this position, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of and experience working with FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA and NON-QM refinance and purchase loan programs and mortgage insurance guidelines.
• Process Loan Application from start to finish, with minimal involvement of the senior loan officer in line with proper standards and company procedures.
• Assist the Loan Processor once approval received and forward to borrower.
• Ability to understand and clear conditions

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include some evening and weekend hours.

• A current Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license through the NMLS a strong plus, must be willing to learn and take and pass the test. Company will pay for education and licensing.

Compensation: Based on experience and skillset, with a base salary plus a generous per file bonus structure.
