Purpose of the role:
The HR and L&D Administrator will work operationally across HR and Learning and Development functions, working closely with the relevant Business Partners. You will have exposure to all generalist areas including: Organisation Development, Resourcing, Succession/Talent Planning, Learning & Development, Operational HR, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations and Employment Law.
Responsibilities of the HR and L&D Administrator:
Providing administrative support to UK HR, and Global Learning and Development Teams.
Providing a high-quality service to internal IQE customers by telephone, in writing, by email and in person.
To provide accurate and timely administrative support for all activities associated with the employee HR life cycle
Ensuring that Absence and Holiday Records at up to date and that the information is correctly stored in s/sheets and the relevant systems.
To liaise with Payroll regarding information regarding New Starters, Changes, Leavers and Absence and & Sickness.
To generate Offer Letters, Contracts of Employment and Variations of Employment correspondence.
Coordinating benefits for new starters and existing employees through our third-party benefits broker.
Responding as the first point of contact to enquiries about policy, development and benefits.
Liaise with training providers and internal IQE customers to co-ordinate training events, confirming timetables and arrangements.
Ensure all HR and L&D systems are up to date and compliant with GDPR.
Perform the range of duties associated with the ordering process for goods and services, including setting up new suppliers, raising POs and processing invoices.
Person Specification
Hold or working towards CIPD qualification or equivalent – HR Graduates
Experience of providing HR advice and support to Line Managers and internal customers
Demonstration of high standards of customer service and support and experience within an HR.
Experience of providing administrative support within a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to Continuing Professional Development
Ability to manage stakeholders and customers in a positive and productive manner.
Experience of working within a highly technical, innovation or data/IT led business will be advantageous.
