iPower Distribution Group NE Inc Hiring for Inventory Materials Management Customer Service Specialist at Chandler, AZ Full Time

The Inventory Materials Management Customer Service Specialist performs a wide variety of duties that provide direct on-site customer service through scanning bins, editing orders, pricing, quoting, data entry, expediting, shelving of components /supplies which requires light lifting and electronic fulfillment of customer purchasing requirements. This position includes approximately:

· 70% Light Material Handling. For this task the position will be required to open packages, review packing slips, stage components for put away and put away.

· 30% Processing Purchasing Orders – 30%. For this task the position will be required to review inventory locations, determine if reorder points have been hit, scan bar codes with automated data collection tools, and process POs using our custom technology.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – The following list of essential job functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary based on business needs.

1. Monitor the inventory level in bins and scan barcodes when inventory hits reorder points.

2. Print Barcode labels as required.

3. Troubleshoot missing shipments or misplaced material and resolve issues.

4. Maintain customer database including pricing, stockroom location, reorder points, generation and performance measurement.

5. Prepare regularly scheduled performance s on delivery, open orders, invoice acknowledgments, etc.

6. Coordinate computer order entry, inventory control and material placement for client companies.

7. Coordinate outside sales representatives with customers through engineers, technicians, other requisitioners.

8. Act as liaison between customer and iPower members in preparing presentations for customers, members, suppliers and franchisers. Provide advice on economically prudent products to meet customer requirements.

9. Assist customer & iPower members by identifying opportunities, coordinating and verifying pricing, delivery, fit, form and function requirements.

10. Prepare pricing quotations and correspondence and convert quotes to order entry upon acceptance.

11. Participate in scheduled ing and production meetings.

12. Daily travel to various customer sites as required. Overnight travel is not required.

13. Coordinate pre-editing invoices and evaluate summary for accuracy as appropriate.

14. Maintain all required logs, records and s.

15. Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or instructed.

SPECIFIC EDUCATION, JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

The individual must possess the following education, training, knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least 3 years’ experience in materials / inventory management.

Prefer 2 years’ experience working in a LEAN environment.

Proven organizational, logistical, and multi-tasking skills.

High level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and job-related software.

Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all internal and external business partners including vendors, clients, and employees.

Excellent professional communication skills and appropriate grammar as related to utilizing communication tools including but not limited business correspondence, Email, and telephone calls.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour
