IPECC Solutions is Looking for Maintenance Planner Full Time

IPECC Solutions is searching for a Mechanical Planner to support our Client in the Edmonton area. This individual would be accountable for detailed planning, scheduling, cost estimating and control functions within SAP-PM while achieving budgeted targets in a safe, cost-effective, and timely manner. The ideal candidate will be a journeyperson trade-certified Pipefitter/Steamfitter, Welder or Boilermaker with experience working within SAP-PM.

Responsibilities

• Write and develop the scope for work packages and work orders.
• Assemble relevant drawings, single lines, layout out drawings, schematics, P& Ds, and Data Sheets for technicians to complete the scope of work with all information readily available.
• Prepare estimated man hours for work packages.
• Ensure all materials for the work order or project are available, order materials, and track delivery dates for critical path activities.
• Identify permit requirements for the work, including Safe Work Procedures.
• Provide feedback to schedulers on baseline maintenance schedule, and identify potential impacts to schedule as it relates to work orders.
• Seek feedback on package quality and estimates from the field technicians and implement recommended changes.
• Identify and implement improvements in workflow.
• Maintain and continuously improve job plans.
• Maintain bills of materials (BOM’s).
• Be responsible for upkeep and accuracy of equipment maintenance history and job records database.
• Be responsible for upkeep and accuracy of technical information on processes, plant and equipment.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong interpersonal, communication, administrative and leadership skills are required.
• Motivated, self-starter who can work well independently or within a team environment.
• An effective communicator with the ability to develop positive working relations across a multitude of business units.
• Exercises good judgment on complex decisions.
• 5 years of experience with SAP-PM
• 3 years of Maintenance Planning experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
