The Opportunity

IPC Health is a growing organisation, has a larger budget, and an increasing number of opportunities for new programs and services. This growth is accompanied by an increase in the complexity of funding arrangements and a higher demand for fiscal responsibility and accountability.

There is an exciting opportunity for a recently graduated Accountant to join our Finance Services department to develop hands-on experience. As well as gain significant opportunities to learn and contribute whilst working alongside a team of highly skilled Accounting and Financial professionals making a difference at IPC Health.

With the creation of a new role of Graduate Accountant, we are excited to offer a talented professional the opportunity to develop and contribute toward our operational and financial accounting goals and requirements.

This role is a full time, fixed term opportunity with flexible work location including work from home, offering a TRP of $75.255 (gross salary + superannuation 10.5% and annual salary packaging benefit of $18,550).

Classified under the Victorian Stand-Alone Community Health Services (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Officers) Multiple Enterprise Agreement *************, you also have access to Accrued Days Off to enjoy a long weekend!

You will make a difference by

• Effectively and efficiently delivering Accounts Receivable function
• Effectively collaborating with members of the Finance, other relevant IPC Health staff and customers
• Supporting Accounts Payable Officer for delivering Accounts Payable function
• Supporting financial accounting function, internal and external audits
• Contributing proactively to finance related process improvements

To succeed you will need

• Tertiary qualification in accounting recently graduated
• Sound theoretical knowledge in accounting concepts including application of Australian Accounting Standards
• Basic knowledge and experience in using accounting systems and Microsoft Office
• Organisational and problem-solving skills, with accuracy and high attention to detail
• Basic knowledge in office administration and customer service skills
