What is the Role?
As the Education Coordinator, you are part of our Health Services Team and your passion for education, event planning and healthcare are all core components of our organizational success and significantly contribute to our important mission.
Your role will vary from the strategic – such as evaluating the educational needs of our key stakeholders and developing focused, high-quality content – through the tactical – such as planning, coordinating and facilitating educational events, materials and trainings.
In conjunction with other members of the Education Team, you will be responsible for:
Evaluating the needs of various healthcare settings and professionals to ascertain, coordinate, implement and/or develop the programs, presentations, materials and trainings necessary to ensure delivery of high-quality content to meet IHC’s educational needs
Collaborating with IHC staff to develop unique and engaging educational content and outreach activities that showcase current research and evidence-based practices and
Strategy development, coordination, planning, delivery and facilitation of IHC educational and outreach events in virtual, onsite and offsite settings, including webinars, conferences and educational materials and courses

Who Are You?
You are a committed, skilled professional with a strong passion for healthcare and education
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing, Organizational Development, Leadership or a relevant field – if you have a Master’s degree and/or an active RN license, even better!
You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in education, event planning, program administration, marketing, healthcare management or operations – if you have at least 3 years’ experience specifically in hospital or clinical education or communications, even better!
You have at least 3 years’ experience planning and executing virtual events
You have demonstrated experience in event planning, program development, organization and execution of both virtual and in-person events, and deployment of Adult Learning and motivational concepts in healthcare settings
You possess excellent presentation, editing and communication skills
You are a positive, friendly and authentic contributor, you have a strong ability to build relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders, and you work effectively both independently and in a team environment
