Job Overview
We are looking for a Corporate Solar Sales Closer whose main responsibility would be interacting with potential customers, quickly responding to inbound leads generated thru Ion’s marketing efforts in addition to generating sales of their own. Driving growth and revenue would be your primary objective and you would be required to have good interpersonal and communication skills to perform your duties effectively.
Job Responsibilities for a Solar Sales Closer
As a Corporate Sales Closer, you will be responsible for receiving, tracking, and responding to company-generated leads, along with generating leads and providing appropriate solutions for customers to boost customer acquisition levels. You will help establish acceptable response times to these leads and create plans to improve sales closing levels. You will analyze market potential and track sales while working towards profitability goals. As a closer, you will learn all aspects of the sales cycle and eventually become an expert in solar sales.
● Search and ascertain prospective clients and solar leads
● Understand and learn about solar products/equipment
● Maintain positive relationships with prospective customers
● Provide solutions to align with pain points in the various customers
● Close and manage company-provided leads
● Achieve sales targets
● Identify buyer persona profile in order to identify KPIs
● Maintain client database and records via our CRM
● Consult various teams including sales and marketing.
● Monitor competition by gathering information on pricing/products/trends in the market
● Keep up to date with the best practices and trends in the industry
● Coordinate sales efforts with marketing and company programs
● Preparing and giving sales presentations to prospective clients
● Negotiating contracts with clients
● Attend weekly sales meetings/trainings
● Build strong customer relationships to ensure they are satisfied and long-lasting customers in order to gain referrals.
● Receive feedback and work on it to resolve issues
● Assist with determining a schedule for pricing, quotes, and promotions.
Compensation
● $50,000 base salary + sales commission
(most closers in this position make over $100,000 per year USD)
Job Qualifications
The basic qualifications required to be considered for the position of a Sales Closer include:
● Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
● Prior demonstrated experience in the Sales Industry
