INVISTA’s Maitland site located in Eastern Ontario is currently seeking Temporary Site Services Support! Maitland site produces DYTEK®A amine, a chemical intermediate used globally in products such as polyamide plastics, fibers, adhesives, curing agents, polyurethanes, vitamins, pharmaceuticals, and epoxy resins.

Job Responsibilities include

Perform loading duties involving the loading / unloading of bulk vessels (Tank Trucks, Containers, Drums & Railcars).

Operation of Forklift to load drums into outgoing sea containers.

Operation of shunt truck to move vessels around site for loading purposes.

Operating two-way radios and other communication equipment.

Adhere to and promotes all safety policies and procedures.

Ability to wear required PPE such as acid proof suits, respirators, etc.

$25.39/Hr. Plus applicable shift premiums.

Skills and Background Required

Possess a valid Ontario driver’s license

Be physically able to do the job

Completed High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience Preferred

Previous manufacturing experience

Transportation of Dangerous Goods experience

Experience with loading / unloading of materials from Tank Trucks etc. operating forklift trucks or heavy equipment.
