Investa Hiring for Human Resources Business Partner at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

We are in search of a Learning & Development Business Partner to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract, commencing in December 2023. You will to the General Manager of People & Culture and your role will be divided into two key areas: Learning and People Development, and Generalist HR. In this hybrid position, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing a culture of learning, fostering career growth among Investa employees, and executing the Learning & Development strategy for the organization. You will also collaborate closely with the People & Culture team to offer general advice and support in employee relations throughout the organisation.

In a Learning & Development capacity, you will be responsible for executing Investa’s Learning & Development strategy, which will include:

• Implementing & driving learning activities throughout the organisation, through a consultative, engaging & proactive approach.
• Proactively identify learning & development opportunities & putting forward a proposed approach/solution.
• Liaising with external training providers regarding requirements & to ensure quality delivery of development programs.
• Promoting & coordinating learning programs via internal communication methods & responding to employee enquiries.
• Promoting LinkedIn Learning (including packaging up relevant training packages to target specific groups etc) & driving utilisation & engagement with the solution.
• Ensuring gender equity in access to & participation in learning & development programs.
• Driving the development planning process across the organisation & working with individual employees & managers to create individual development plans.
• Regularly delivering the new employee Induction programs, coordinating all speakers & activities required.

Your support in a generalist HR capacity will be primarily centred around:

• Conducting exit interviews with departing employees. Extracting insights, ing on themes & suggested actions for improving employee experience.
• Assisting with the annual performance review cycles, including internal communications, tracking completion & following up employees/managers, training employees/managers etc.
• Supporting the GM People & Culture with employee engagement surveys & action planning activities.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Learning or similar discipline (highly desirable).
• Qualification in learning & development.
• Demonstrated experience in planning, developing & implementing learning solutions.
• Relevant experience delivering or facilitating learning interventions.
• Experience with generalist HR support / business partnering (preferred).
• Strong time management, prioritisation and organisational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence individuals at all levels of the organisation.
• Experience in thinking creatively and identifying solutions outside of the box.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously & to exercise initiative & discretion.
