Sales & Marketing Manager

We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager to help support our own rapid growth.

As a Sales & Marketing Manager for the IT industry, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to promoting and selling IT products and services.

Some of the key tasks you would be expected to undertake include:

• Conducting market research to identify new opportunities and target markets.
• Developing marketing campaigns that promote IT products and services.
• Creating sales strategies that effectively position IT products and services.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborating with product and service development teams to ensure that products and services meet customer needs.
• Analyzing sales data to identify areas of improvement and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Managing the sales team and providing guidance and support as needed.
• Staying up to date with industry trends and developments.

• Webinars

Skills that will be important for success in this role include:

• Strong Grammar: As a Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating a wide range of marketing materials, including advertisements, sales collateral, and webinar content. To effectively communicate your message and persuade customers, you must have strong grammar and writing skills.
• Execution: The ability to execute on your plans is essential in this role. You will need to develop and implement marketing campaigns, manage a team of SDRs, and run sales initiatives to convert leads into customers. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously will be critical.
• LinkedIn Ads: LinkedIn is a valuable platform for promoting IT products and services, and running effective advertising campaigns on this platform requires specialized knowledge and expertise. You should be familiar with LinkedIn Ads and how to use them to target your ideal customers.
• Webinars: Webinars are an effective way to promote IT products and services, and you should have experience creating and promoting these events. You should be able to develop engaging webinar content and use marketing techniques to drive attendance.
• Industry Knowledge: To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of the IT industry, including emerging trends, technologies, and customer needs. This knowledge will enable you to identify new opportunities and develop effective marketing strategies.
• Content Review and Polishing: As a Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing and polishing all marketing materials to ensure they are error-free and communicate your message effectively.
• Follow-up Campaigns: Following up with potential customers after a webinar or event is critical for driving conversions. You should be able to develop effective follow-up campaigns that engage customers and encourage them to take action.
• Sales Management: Managing a team of SDRs requires strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members, provide feedback and coaching, and hold team members accountable for performance.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of the IT industry and its products and services. You should also have experience in sales and marketing, as well as the ability to manage a team and work collaboratively with others. We are interested in US, Canada or UK-based, with 8 years of experience in Sales/Marketing. Managerial position experience is preferred.

We need someone who is available to work 30-40hrs per week.

Compensation: $25-$40 per hour
